She is survived by: her children, Leonard Hancock (Debby) of Gainesboro, TN, Buddy Hancock (Jennifer) of Baxter, TN, Betty Hale (Tim Montgomery) of Buffalo Valley, TN, Reba Madell of Cookeville, TN, Emma McMaster (Richard) of Cookeville, TN and April Gentry (Alvin) of Cookeville, TN.; and her grandchildren, Mary, Jackie Whitehead, Josh (Destiny), Jacob Hancock, Melissa Clevenger (Matt), Brian Allen (Erin), William Hall (Donnie), Kristy Heizel (Travis), Randy (Savannah), Jimmy Hale (Turell), Hollister Huddleston, Angel Snyder (Rob), Amanda Mathis (Nick), Ashley Nunley (Mitch), Bradley Cross, Rocky Pickerin, Jr. (Kyleigh), Zachary Pickerin, Jasmine "Suzy" Pickerin, Donovon Gentry (Caryn), Adriana Walker (Melissa), Kincaid Gentry (Sarah), Danielle Gentry (Jordan) and Levi Gentry. She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Alene's honor to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the business office of the funeral home.
