She is survived by: her children, Sonya Murphy, James Murphy and Roy James "Junebug" Murphy Jr.; her brothers, Bob Gist (Patsy) and James "Pop" Gist; and her grandchildren, Parker and Landon Murphy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
