It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bettye Ruth Kash in Cookeville, Tennessee, born in Greenbrier, Tennessee, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Bennie Choate and Vetrice Fryer Choate; and her brother Don Choate. She is survived by : her husband Graham Kash; her daughters, Heather Batchelor (Mike) of Madison, AL and Holly Schauer (Aaron) of Portland, OR.; her sibling Bennie Mac Choate of Gallatin; and her grandsons, Brett, Blake, Matthew and David.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested at the future speech and theater endowment at TN Tech.
