It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Edward Cowan of Cookeville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cecil Cowan and Lou Lillian Cowan (Alcorn); his wife Lela Marie Cowan; his daughter Teresa Marie Cowan; his siblings, Robert Cowan, Jerry Cowan and Dorothy Brown; and his brother-in-law Raymon Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Miller (Dale), Jennifer Cowan and Henderson (David); his grandchildren, Michael Mansell, Kacie Bryant and Luxanna Steele; his great grandchildren, Scottie Bryant, Jr., Kylie Bryant and Branson Bryant; and his sister-in-law June Cowan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
