He was predeceased by : his father Robert Rich; and his siblings, Billy Rich, Jerry Rich and Ann Rich. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Ann Spurlock Rich; his sons, Bobby Rich (Laura), Terry Rich and Casey Rich (Emily); his grandchildren, Blake, Kaitlyn, Chris, Sarah, Hannah, Madyson and Layah; and his siblings, Jim Rich (Theresa), Linda White (Gary) and Peggy Davis (Robert).
