He was predeceased by: his father Ollie Leroy Anderson; and his brothers, Kenneth and Alton Anderson. He is survived by: his mother Ophelia Hollis Anderson of Cookeville; his children, Task Force Investigator, Criminal Investigations Division Commander and Crisis Negotiation Team Commander; his wife Jennifer Anderson; his children, Dewayne Anderson (Elizabeth) of Hilham, Sean Nash of Sparta, Tiffany Smith (Scotty) of Livingston, Tabitha Ruby (Chris) of Sparta, Katie Kashner (Joe) of Cleveland, TN and Emily Anderson of Sparta; his siblings, Calvin Anderson (Nancy Frey) of Cookeville and Norma Anderson (Jack Howard) of Algood; and his grandchildren, Justin, Briella Smith, Josie, Lila and Norah Kashner. He is also survived by several niece and nephews.
