Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carl Wilford Hamilton of Cookeville, Tennessee, born in Grayson, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 91, on December 24, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hamilton and Daught Hamilton (Stamper); his siblings, Bud Hamilton, Burnice Hamilton, Melva "Crickett" Gaskill and Hazel Mobley; and his son Carl Michael Hamilton.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Hamilton (Alverson); his children, Tammey Smith, Deborah Martin (Todd Steingraber) and Stan Martin; his grandson Carl Sanders (Samantha Blackburn); his close friend Doug Smith; his pet Oliver; and his brother Paul Hamilton (Carol). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
