He was predeceased by: his parents, Hassell Hickman Vaughn and Mary Zeffie Vaughn (Winningham); and his siblings, Lloyd Vaughn, Mary Gookin, Loyce Vaughn, Cletis Vaughn, Carson Vaughn, Truman Vaughn, Hassell Vaughn, Jr. and Howard Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Rose Vaughn; his children, Renee Day (Dale) and Chris Vaughn (Sharon); his stepchildren, Bruce Malone (Martha), Denise Bohannon (Dale), Regina Malone and Terry Malone (Cindy); his grandchildren, Chad Day (Leanna), Adam Day (Krystani) and Allie Felder; his great grandchildren, Kate, Sloane, Waylon and Savannah; and his sister Ruby Slagle. He is also survived by step-grandchildren, step-greatgranchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Presley Funeral Home (695 Buffalo Valley Rd, Cookeville, TN 38501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
