He was predeceased by: his father Ricky John; and his sister Ann John. He is survived by: his mother Kristalene Redd John; his children, Annaliyah Keaona John, Addison Grace John, William Tyler Hassler and Kenzlie Nacole Hassler; his siblings, Elizabeth "Nikki" Taylor (Jesse), Ricky John, Jr., Richard Daniel "Danny" John and Casey Douglas; his stepfather Winford Cummings; his nieces and nephews, Amie, Carolina and JJ Taylor; and his aunt Lisa Hillis.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Doak-Howell Funeral Home to help assist the family with final expenses.
