Dale Mathis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Mathis of Cookeville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Mathis and Gennie Mathis (Brown); his son Shannon Dale Mathis; and his siblings, Ruby Nell Murray, Roselle Jackson, Florance "Dood" Mathis, Melvin "Hitler" Mathis, Carl Mathis, Billy Mickell Mathis and Claburn Mathis.

He is survived by: his wife Ginny Mathis of Cookeville; his children, Brent Mathis (T. C.), Samuel Mathis and Nichole Norris (Steve); his grandchildren, Dalton, Eva Mathis, Libby, Kolby Emery, Parker and Karley Norris; and his close friends, Kym, Dannie Durham, Gerald Jones and Host.

Memorial Donations may be made in memory to the Local Veterans Honor Guard.
