He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Lee Loftis and Cora C. Loftis (Chaffin); his wife Edith Loftis (Gentry); his siblings, Sarah Belle Loftis, Donald Everett Loftis, Vela Alice Lester, Beulah Jane Gentry, Jimmy Oliver Loftis, Doliver Brinton Loftis, Della Mae Graham, Vola Norton, Lola Frances Howe and Georgia Lanell Fox; his grandson Caleb Allen Loftis; and his great grandchild Quinton Loftis.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Whitson (Jere) and Ronald Dale Loftis (Barbara); his grandchildren, Amelia Loftis, Anita Loftis, Maridy Carpenter (Joseph), Jere Whitson (Leslie), Jonothan Whitson (Devin), Daniel Loftis, Joshua Loftis (Bethany) and Denise Reflexia; and his sister Vada Lee Burch. He is also survived by 17 Great-Grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
