She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Sandlin and Sadie Redmon Sandlin; her husband Buddy; and her sisters, Barbara Self, Garnette Prater and Pamela Kay Sandlin.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Certain of Gordonsville, Jennifer Hicks of Smithville, Amanda Colman (Erik) of Sparta and Buddy Dallas Certain of Cookeville; her grandchildren, Ayleah Warren, Austin Certain, Cameron Certain, Chloe Certain, Zariah Certain, Olivia Certain, Kyle Fisher, Atticus Certain, Tyler Parsley and Trevor Parsley; and her siblings, Melissa Prater (Howell) of Smithville, Nelson Sandlin (Vicky) of Liberty and Lanny Sandlin (Vicki) of Liberty. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or to the American Cancer Society in memory of Donna.
