He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Bruce McLarty (Ann) of Cookeville and Dr. Karl McLarty (Sandy) of Searcy, Arkansas; his wife Johnnie Sue Birdwell McLarty; his children, Kim Johnson (Bill) of Gahanna and Karen Crabb (Wade) of Lebanon; and his grandchildren, Charity McLarty, Jessica Martin (Michael), Kaleb McLarty (Alissa), Joshua McLarty, Paul McLarty (Ellie), Rebecca Johnson, Eric Johnson (Erin), Callie Newsom (Connor) and Cory Crabb. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
