He was predeceased by: his father William Sloat; his former wife Ruby Sloat; his wife Peg Sloat; and his son Steve Sloat. He is survived by: his sons, Rick Sloat (Stacey) and Glenn Sloat (Robbin) of Cookeville. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
