It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestene Dodson Goodwin of Cookeville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Dodson and Verna Mae Guy Dodson; her husband Hollis Lee Goodwin; and her siblings, Martha Brasel and Billy Wade Dodson.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Cunningham (Earl) of Cookeville; her grandsons, Clint Peterman (Kayla) of Cookeville, Jacob Peterman (Kimberly) of Knoxville and William Peterman (Hannah) of Thailand; her great grandchildren, Channing, Camille, Wren, Shepherd, Chance and Hinny Peterman; her stepgrandchildren, Noelani Cunningham and Kalani Cunningham; and her sister Carolyn Goff (Richard).
