It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Faye Head in Cookeville, Tennessee, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reggie Phann and Gladice Lucille Smith Phann; her husband Dwane Head; her sister-in-law Debbie Phann; her daughter-in-law Patty Head; her son Ricky Wayne Head; and her siblings, Jimmy Phann and Sue Heady.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Head of Gainesboro, TN, Richard Dale Head of Gainesboro, TN and Roy Douglas Head of Gainesboro, TN; and her sister Joyce Herd (Corbitt) of Gainesboro, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many other relatives.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (2131 S Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery.
