It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Moody of Cookeville, Tennessee, born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Joe" Moody and Cora Miller Moody; his wife Myrtle "Joanne" Jacks; and his siblings, Bill, Henry, Jess, Ed, Sam Moody, Minnie Sharp, Sally Howerton and Ethel Goley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Beechboard (Bobby) of Cookeville and Kim Grider of Cookeville; his grandsons, Brian Beechboard (Brandy), Brent Beechboard (Rachel), Jeff Grider (Brandi) and Jason Grider (Jenny); and his great grandchildren, Kylie, Jayden, Jaylyn, Josie, Avery, Jaxon Grider and Maddie Minnear.
