She was predeceased by: her parents, Ozra Mefford and Dealy Smith Mefford; and her husband Dan Hughes, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Wayne (Randy) of Campbellsville, KY, Joy Hosey (Jim) of Livingston, TN and Tim Hughes (Sophia) of Missouri; and her sister Naomi Baker of Russellville, KY.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gibson & Son Funeral Home (275 Court Square, Hawesville, KY 42348). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Union Baptist Church (5770 KY-1389, Hawesville, KY 42348).
