He was predeceased by: his father James Edward "Cotton" Blaylock; and his brother Jackie Blaylock. He is survived by: his wife Betty Grace Pruitt Blaylock; his children, Dylan Blaylock (Candi), Nick Smith, Andrew Smith, Vanessa Sumner (Dave), Ashley Gauvin (Andrew) and Andrea Blaylock; his mother Dorothy Irene Roberts Blaylock; his siblings, Tim Blaylock (Deb) and Ann Womack (Gary); and his grandchildren, Logan, Casey, Lilly, Molly, Lily, Astrid, Enid, Weston, Garrick, Ava Grace, Noah, Lorie, Gracie and Hope. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Pikeville Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
