He was predeceased by: his father Howard Lovell; his wife Roberta Jean Wright Buckmaster; his son Gerald Leonard Buckmaster II; and his siblings, Lucille Marie Little, Betty Jane Ruess, Josephine Elaine Laprell, Robert James Buckmaster, Herman Donald Buckmaster and Harold Isaac Buckmaster.
He is survived by: his children, Clifford Buckmaster, Catherine Buckmaster and Theresa LaForm. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
