He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Loftis (Laycox) and Walter Loftis; his siblings, Bobby Loftis, Roanna Bryant and Glenda Faye Mayberry; and his son-in-law Garry Derossitt.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Loftis; his children, Diane Derossitt of Algood and Dennis Loftis of Cookeville; and his sisters, Marie Cantrell of Rogersville, Connie Clinton (Terry) of Cookeville and Vickie Poston (Rick) of Cookeville.
