He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl H. Boggs and Edna Alice Bohannon Boggs; his wife Lelah Claudean Boggs; and his granddaughter Jessica Susan Boggs. He is survived by: his sons, James Boggs (Sharon) of New Carlisle and Tommy Boggs of Knoxville, Tennessee; and his siblings, Diana O'Neal of Livingston, Deborah Jean Ray of Cookeville, Ronald Boggs of Monterey, Craig Boggs (Brilla) of Monterey and Rex Boggs (Sharon) of Gonzales. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smith Chapel Cemetery - Putnam County (7479 Smith Chapel Rd, Cookeville, TN 38501).
