He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Faye Sampson (Dotson); his son William Sampson; his parents, William Sampson and Dorothy Sampson (Cothron); and his sister-in-law Janie Sampson.
He is survived by: his son Cliff Sampson (Veronica); his grandchildren, Jence Sampson and Jodi Sampson; and his siblings, Karen Russell (Roger) and David Sampson of Lafayette.
Family request memorials be made to the Akersville Cemetery.
