He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willard, Vera Dyer, Henry and Pearlie Harris; his uncles, Eugene Dyer and James Haile; and his father-in-law Durell "Steve" Loftis.

He is survived by: his parents, Royce Harris and Geneva Harris; his wife Regina Harris; his children, Daniel Harris (Amber), Hannah Davis (Justin) and Stephen Harris (Amanda); his grandchildren, Emma Grace Davis, Benjamin Davis and Ava Davis; his sister Janet Smith (Kevin); and his mother-in-law Anna Harrison (Bill). He is also survived by 3 brothers-in-law and their spouses, along with several nieces and nephews.
