He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Rice and Roberta Steel Rice; and his siblings, Dillard Rice, William Rice and Michelle Davidson Krug.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Taylor-Brelage (Andy) and Becky Franklin (Anthony); and his grandchildren, Haley Taylor, Michael Taylor, Candace Franklin, Cheyenne Cogdell, Kelsey Franklin and Katelyn Franklin.
