He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morgan Copeland and Deama Thomas Copeland; and his siblings, Emolene Copeland, Emogene Randolph, Margaret Knight, Lois Copeland, Mary Sue Allen, Robert Houston Copeland and Ernest Junior Copeland.
He is survived by: his wife Claradean McCowan Copeland; his daughters, Karen Cox (Farrell) of Cookeville, TN and Monica Bonner (Mike) of Morrison, TN.; his grandchildren, Courtney Rose (Adam), Kristen Hagan (Korben), Adam Cox, Erica Leslie (Warren), Stacey Lester (Marty), Taylor Reed and Courtney Hutchison (Brent); his great grandchildren, Marley, Makenzie, Davy, Naomi, Lyla, Bryton, Madison, Cameron, Rylan, Adrian, Lana Jo, Kyler, Audrey, Kason, Rhett and Silas; and his sister Ruth Arney. He is also survived by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cookeville Chapel (59 N Jefferson Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
