Jack Alan Rice Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Alan Rice (Cookeville, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, AJ Rice and Jean Rice; his grandparents, Herman, Lelia Rice (Williams), Joe and Myrtle Sliger (Tollison); his nephews, Landon Rice and Travis West; and his parents-in-law, Edward and Mattie Lee Burgess (Boles).

He is survived by: his wife Myra Gail Rice (Thrasher); his sons, Chadwick Rice and Tyler Rice (Rachel); his grandchildren, Gavin, Cannan Rice and Maren Rice; his siblings, Lonnie Rice (Lisa) and Beverly Mitchell (Ted); his nieces, Leanne Nabors (Brandon), Kelly Mulholland (Jimmy) and Lauren Rice; his nephew Adam West (Heather); and his sister-in-law Cindy West.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
