He is survived by: his son-in-law Wayne Clemons; his sister Ruth Veitenheimer; his granddaughter Olivia Lauper; his stepgrandsons, Nick and J. R. Clemons; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Odin and Elora Clemons; and his pet Lenny. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
