He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Herren and DeLina Randolph Herren; his wife Jo Ann Frizzell Herron; his siblings, Otis Herren of Charles Herren, L. V, Odell Herren Clemmons, Orna Herren Henry and Arvel Herren; and his sister-in-law Ruth Farley Herron.
He is survived by: his son Randy Herron; his daughter-in-law Lori; his grandchildren, Lani Christian (Ethan), James "Lance" Herron (Katie) and Brady Herron; and his great grandchildren, Cole, Dane, Lyndi, Lylah Christian, Carter and Andrew Herron. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
