We bid farewell to James Lynn (Cookeville, Tennessee), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 8, 2025 at the age of 96. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Avert Lynn and Vida Phillips Lynn; his wife Betty J. Phann Lynn; and his siblings, Charlie, Harold, Ray Lynn, Evelyn Barlow, Grace Robbins and Sue Buell.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry (Tena Lynn) and Connie (Randall Kinnaird); his grandchildren, Emily Elliott (Jeff), J. D. Lynn and Sara Hammons; his great grandchild Carol Lynn Elliott; and his siblings, Kenneth Lynn, Daina Lynn, Pauline Goolsby, Betty Grissom and Wanda Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
