With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Albert Pippin of Cookeville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 5, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Flatt Pippin; his grandparents, Albert, Ethel Flatt, James Bethel and Vera Anderson Pippin; and his wife Darlene Pippin.
He is survived by: his father Paul Max Pippin; his daughter Kristin Short; his sister Laura Pippin; and his grandsons, Jake, Emmitt and Everett Short.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crest Lawn Funeral Home (800 W Jackson St, Cookeville, TN 38501). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
