He was predeceased by: his parents, James Waitman and Ottilie Waitman (Wagner); and his sisters, Jerrie Phillips and Betty Dearth. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Waitman (Smith); his children, Jackie Smith (Rich), Mandy Maleski (Pat), Sally Anderson (Chad), Nancy Connolly (Floyd De'Miguel), Jimmy Waitman (Michele) and Lonnie Waitman (Lori Thompson); and the mother of his children Nancy Purnhagen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
