He was predeceased by: his parents, James Birdwell and Velma Pippin Birdwell. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Birdwell Younger; his son-in-law Kevin Younger; his sons, Jeffery Birdwell and Jerry Birdwell; and his grandchildren, Grayson Birdwell, Jade Hedgecough, Allyson Birdwell, Trevor Birdwell, Joseph Birdwell and Adam Hedgecough. He is also survived by Numerous Brothers and Sisters, along with Brother-In-Laws and Sister-In-Laws.
