He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar Lynn and Willie Mae McGough; his wife Barbara Sue Lynn; his daughter Kimberly Sue Lynn; and his siblings, Leon, Eleanor and Estaline.

He is survived by: his children, Barbara, Gentry Lynn (Jenny), Lee Lynn, David Lynn, Michael Lynn and Tina Lynn (Jaimie); his grandchildren, David Lynn, Tierra Holley (Marc), Cody Lynn, Ashley Weatherholtz (Josh), Allie Lynn (Alan), Katelyn Lynn, Kristina Lynn, Lexia Lynn and Rayne Lynn; his great grandchildren, Landyn, Uriyah, Journee, Sawyer, Knox, Maleko, Makaya, Walker, Savvy and Lakelynn; and his brother Gary. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
