He is survived by: his siblings, Ken Maddox, Earnestine Poole, Don Maddox and Jim Maddox; his wife Sarah (Sally); his children, John Scott Maddox (Nancy), Kelly Maddox (Theresa), Jeff Maddox and Frances Opfer Cronlund (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Katrin Cronlund and Henry Cronlund.
