He was predeceased by: his parent OJ Joyce; his grandparents, Anita, Garner Joyce, James and Penelope Rhett; his mother-in-law Betty Ann Pharris; his brothers-in-law, James Jones, Wyman Williams and David Pharris; and his pet Almond (Goofy).
He is survived by: his mother Penny Joyce (Rhett); his wife Loretta Joyce; his daughter Christy Underwood (Richard); his grandchildren, Josh and Millie Underwood; his brothers, Jay Joyce and Mike Joyce; his father-in-law Sherrill Pharris; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Williams Chatman and Kathy Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
