She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis D. Burgess and Julia Coplin Burgess; her husband Roy Lee Cooper; her sons, Michael Cooper and Keith Cooper; and her sister Betty Gilliam.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa DeSpain; her son-in-law Chris DeSpain; and her sister-in-law Joyce Herron. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
