She was predeceased by: her parents, Toshiji Yamamoto and Yoshie Yamamoto; and her husband Richard S. Sanders. She is survived by: her children, Jane Ayano Sanders Blomberg (John D.), Betty Fujiko Sanders, Clent Wayne Sanders (Teresa Walden) and Dr. Daniel Jefferson Barnes; her grandchildren, Lalena Blomberg Borland (David), Toshiji Lee Blomberg, Jeremiah Nathaniel Blomberg, John Kenneth Myers, III and Zachary Wayne Sanders (Marley Cantrell); her great grandchildren, Gwendalyn Ayano Borland, Ethan Duke Borland and Sadie Bryce Henry (Brian); and her great great grandchild Violet Alena Henry.
