He is survived by: his children, Rebekah Dively of Cookeville, Deborah Eckenrod of Cookeville and Michael Smith of Ashland City, TN.; his grandchildren, Laura Cercone (Justin), Heather Gerfen (Jon), Melissa, Dana Guinn (Tyler), Brennan Eckenrod, Rachel Cook (Brad), Ben Smith (Cayla), Shannon Frantz (Eric) and Elizabeth Lappin; his great grandchildren, Alex Harris, Emma Cercone, Lanah, Lorelai, Lincoln Guinn, Evelyn Madelyn and Elliana Franz; his sister Minola Barr Jensen; and his son Rev. Joseph Smith, Jr. (Michelle) of Johnson City, TN.
