She was predeceased by: her mother Reba DeLois Gore Wilmoth; and her brother Michael Joe Wilmoth. She is survived by: her father Joe Wilmoth of Cookeville; her husband John Short; her sons, John Short (Kristin) and Jordan Short (Marissa); her grandsons, Ben and Sam Short; her sisters, Teresa Bruce (Greg), Rhonda Smith (Sullivan) and Melody West; and her sister-in-law Sharon Wilmoth.
