It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Coomer (Cookeville, Tennessee), born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Coomer and Mary Inez Davidson Coomer; his brother James Coomer; his wife Wilma Benson Coomer; and his nephew Jim Coomer.
He is survived by: his close friend Pat Coomer; his daughters, Teresa Coomer Sparks (Larry) and Susan Coomer Galbreath (Dodd); his grandchildren, Andrew Sparks (Whitney), Jake Sparks (Molly), Carley Sparks Taylor (Jacob), Braden Galbreath (Brynn) and Ailey Galbreath; his great grandchildren, Kylie, Magnolia, Mary Kathrine, Wylla Claire and Georgia; his nephew Terry Coomer (Lisa); his great-niece Heather Coomer Green (Jeremy); Ella and Everly.
