She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Robert Jared and Mary Lowe Jared; her sister Mary Ralph Maddux (Garland Stanton); her nephew Freddy Maddux; and her cousins, Nancy Jarell, Rosemary Haselton, Peggy Wallace, JoAnn Gill and William Harper.

She is survived by: her husband Garland Stanton; her son Brett Jared Stanton; her daughter-in-law Sandra Kay Stanton; her grandson Neil Garland Stanton; her nephew Ralph Maddux; and her cousin Laura Medley.
