He was predeceased by: his father James F. Samples. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Brown Samples; his children, Daniel Samples of Cookeville, Tyler Fletcher of Cookeville, Emily Vaden (Elias) of Cookeville and Katlyn Green (Matt) of Greeneville, TN; his grandson Judah Green; his brothers, Greg Samples of Cleveland and David Samples (Bekki) of Cleveland; and his siblings' children, Garrett Samples (Katlyn), Jacob Samples (McKenzie), Alex Samples, Victoria Skiba (Chase) and Anna Samples.
