We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2024, at the age of 80, Mary Boles of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ed Gross Light and Helen Louise Light (Wriston); her daughter Mary "Susie" Ray; her son-in-law Tony Palk; and her brothers, Ira and Ed.

She is survived by : her husband Tex Allen Boles; her children, Victoria Palk and Allen Boles (Terri); her grandchildren, Rebecca Ray, Sarah Ray, Emily Palk, Holli Boles, Staci Boles and Jacob Palk; her great grandchildren, Abel Gray and Kara Hutcherson; and her brothers, Danny, Tommy and Rick Light. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Ridge Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery (7198 Pleasant Ridge Rd, Sparta, TN 38583).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Pleasant Ridge Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, C/O, Terri Roberson.
