She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emery Pippin and Mallie Pippin; her children, Woodfork, Freelon, Camel, Mona, Milta, Mintie, Maudie, Muriel, Mamie, Margie and Sunny; her spouse Ephriam Jackson; her children, Phillip Jackson (Pam) and Brenda Eckerly; her grandchildren, David (Marge), Derek, Peggy (Ray) and Tony (Kim); and her great grandchildren, Sarah, Emma, Zachary, Alexandra and Jackson Eckerly.
Later in life, she remained vibrant as a member of the Waterford Community Church frequently visiting nursing homes and even climbing a rock wall at the age of 82, at a charity event.
