We are sad to announce that, on May 13, 2025, at the age of 67, Myron Smith of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulon Smith and Wilma Smith; and his parents-in-law, James and Doris Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Murphy Smith; his brother Kevin Smith of Old Lyme; his siblings-in-law, Marsha Ford (Patrick), Brenda Holland (Brent), Pam Hoskins and Jimmy Murphy; his nieces and nephews, Resasha Van Deven (Adam), Kayla, Keyle Holland, Jake Hoskins and Katie Jones (Blake); and his great-nephews, Brayden, Braxton, Bryson Van Deven and Eli Jones. He is also survived by several cousins, extended family members, and a wealth of friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be made to the Backpack Program at Bangham Heights Baptist Church, 5961 Hilham Rd, Cookeville, TN 38501 and/or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
