It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Carter of Cookeville, Tennessee, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on April 30, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Boles and Gertrude Amanda Crabtree Boles; her son Jackie Charles; her granddaughter Brandi Charles; and her sister Irma Thompson.

She is survived by : her sisters, Norma Smith and Patricia Lafever; her grandson Phillip Charles; her niece Amanda Scott; and her nephews, Aaron Threet and Brandon Threet. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cookeville City Cemetery (241 S Walnut Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501).
