He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Lindal Hulse and Ida Hulse (Tollison); and his sister Alice Naegle. He is survived by: his wife Tammie Hulse; his daughters, Jamie Fansler and Leah Hulse; and his grandchildren, Cody Fansler, Allie Fansler, Trace Arms, Rosalie Arms and Nolan Arms. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
