He was predeceased by: his father Ottis Hansel Phillips Sr.; his son-in-law Steve Rains; and his brother Mike Doughty. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Gray Phillips; his children, Kristie Phillips of Cookeville, Mary Beth Herron (Blake) of Cookeville, Emily Phillips Rains of Cookeville, Parker Phillips (Shannon) of Brentwood and Hunter Phillips (Dallas) of Nashville; his sister Pat Doughty of Cookeville; and his grandchildren, Caden Herron, Leigha Herron, Jack Rains, Lyndon Katherine Rains, Reagan Phillips and Emerson Phillips.
