With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peggie Hurteau in Cookeville, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Peggie left this world on December 6, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the sacred silence of farewell, Peggie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Jean Craig and Rosalee Cullum Craig; her husband William Hurteau; her brother Steven Craig; her son Eric Crane; and her son-in-law James Booth.
She is survived by: her sister Joanna Craig Long; her children, Jennifer Booth and Marc Crane (Heather); her grandchildren, Jonathan Bradshaw, Megan Foster and Christopher Crane; and her great grandchild Brooke Bradshaw.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Findlay Methodist Church (505 N Spring St, Sparta, TN 38583).
